Corvette owners have had this issue ever since the A8 transmission was introduced.  A company called Range technology (do a google search) has now introduced the same product I have been using in my Corvette for the last 3 years for the new GM trucks with cylinder deactivation. It forces the engine into thinking all eight cylinders are needed and you will always have full power and no frequency vibration from multiple cylinders being shut off. This will also extend the life of the transmission. It simply plugs into the obd2 port and is undetectable by GM as long as you UN plug it before bringing it in for service. It also disables start/stop. I have nothing to do with this company and have nothing to gain by this post.

It’s compatible on the 19 and 20s. Any transmission.  Not for the 3.0L. Not sure about the 6.2 check the web page.

Do you have the new 8-speed in the 19/20 trucks? If so, has it helped your issues?

I have used similar device on my Acura to deal with their Variable Cylinder Management, which does the same thing and causes the same problems. VCM actually helped cause a recall down the line in the propellor shaft that couldn’t seem to handle the vibrations and stuttering.

No more vibrations and stuttering.

I had it on my 2019 Sierra at4. I had to remove it. It was giving me really bad fuel mileage. I went from 17L/100km to 23L/100km. In my opinion it’s not worth the fuel loss. Right now it has a cozy spot in my glove box lol.

I have the 3.0L diesel now with the 10 speed. I run it on all of my A-8 equipped Corvettes with no issues.  No fuel economy issues at all.
