c5hd Posted November 15, 2003 Posted November 15, 2003 I have a new race trailer and it is pretty much bare bones. The floor is plywood. What do I need to do to put flooring down? What material is it? I want to get it covered up and protected before I destroy the wood. Thanks
MCourson Posted November 15, 2003 Posted November 15, 2003 Right now there is POS stick on tile that wont stay down. There is going to be new stuff soon. I cant find it online anywhere but my dad can get it through his work, its called PRC by Courtalds Aerospace. I cant find it but I will see where he gets it. Im still looking for other options too.
antig24 Posted November 15, 2003 Posted November 15, 2003 Our old trailer had checkerboard tile and our new one had plywood and we just painted it.
pacodiablo Posted November 15, 2003 Posted November 15, 2003 I don't know much about race trailers, we have never had one, but maybe you could apply a spray on/paint on bed liner material to the wood? I am not sure how well it would bond to the wood or hold up, but it is an idea.
MadFish Posted November 15, 2003 Posted November 15, 2003 I have some carpet in mine. Its made for trailers, so it isnt the same as whats in your house. But, Im getting ready to swap it out for diamond plate and tile.
GM GIMP Posted November 19, 2003 Posted November 19, 2003 I put aluminum over my plywood. Used countersunk screws.
