What sill plates/covers do you have?

I see the 3M grip tape ones, the GMC metal ones, and the bushwhacker ones that extend beyond the door.

 

My previous owner marked up the sill plate like whoa and I'd like to not see it every time I get in and out.

This is something that looks like it could cover it all. I just don't know if it's too think between the door jam.

What about getting some spray on bedliner, like Rhino Liner or Bullet Liner, done in that area?  That should handle anything and last forever.

I'm afraid about the same thing happening to mine. Hoping someone has so info on what to put there to prevent that?
