20silverado20 Posted July 17, 2020 Posted July 17, 2020 i have a 2020 trail boss (base model) im installing rock lights and want to install a toggle switch. My question is, does anyone know how to get behind the spot i have circled in the picture?
Transient Posted July 17, 2020 Posted July 17, 2020 It looks like you may need to pull the whole plastic trim surround in order to remove it. I could be wrong. Just going off the pic I found. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
20silverado20 Posted July 17, 2020 Author Posted July 17, 2020 Thats what it looked like to me. Any idea how it all comes apart? im assuming it snaps in, but not too sure
20silverado20 Posted July 17, 2020 Author Posted July 17, 2020 Nevermind i found a YouTube video. posting in case someone else needs it.
fsuboy75 Posted October 1, 2020 Posted October 1, 2020 Pulls straight out. Use a trim tool to pry it. Not much room depending on the switch. I was going to mount something there too. The wires are there just held in place for the power outlet option. 1
c.schill Posted October 1, 2020 Posted October 1, 2020 (edited) I actually did this with my switch for a couple LED pods in the front bumper, where fog lights would be if equipped. You can remove the lower pieces of the center stack, and snake your hand up through to push them out. It's a tight fit, but I managed to do with without removing the whole surround and all that. I'll get a photo of the switch I put in later on today. EDIT: found a pic. I did a ****** job of sizing the hole to mount it, so ignore that, but it's a good spot to mount one. Julio13 Posted October 6, 2020 Posted October 6, 2020 If wiring is there what would be needed to add the factory outlet? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk It would seem like it would be there....they wire these trucks for everything, even if sometimes the option isn't there. I may just have to call my dealership and find out.

I want to do the same thing where did u pass the wires through? The firewall then the back of that center area?
