No SiriusXM radio in my $50,000 truck. GM SUCKS!!

Proudly??  Go read my last 1000 or so posts. Joined this forum trying to figure out the problems GM built into said Silverado. Sadly, apparently not much has changed in the last decade in the General’s engineering and build quality. Except for the trucks have gotten much uglier and the prices are higher than ever. 

 

PS  Not that I owe any explanation, but  I really wanted a GMC. No similarly-equipped examples were available in a 4 state area during that sale.

Spoken like a true beta. I wouldn’t expect you to understand things like no more 2-speed transfer cases in lower models. Not all of us care to watch Richard Simmons workout videos on our infotainment screens—that’s not what we call an improvement.

Do you really want to know what a GM customer service agent told me when I called to complain about this? "Sir, you can use a SiriusXM app on your phone and connect it through the Bluetooth".

 

I asked if this was General Motors official position and answer to this problem and she said "yes". Great, I have it recorded and can't wait for a way to use it, if I get the chance. General Motors official opinion is that people should use their phone more often in the car.

What are you talking about? I know this is probably going to be shocking, but not everyone needs a 2 speed transfer case....  

 

Guess what though, I wanted a 2 speed transfer case and I made sure as ****** my truck had it before I bought it.
