What would you buy?

We’ve been using diesels for 40 years. My mother drives an 00 Ford diesel 40 miles a day to the rec center. She’s 82 now. They live in the country, no short trips. My father drove an 98 Ram diesel. Trucks still here, he recently departed. My brother drives 60K miles a year. He usually has to do a delete before 200K. I quit driving diesels when the fuel to low sulfur. All our other trucks we switch to gas and 1/2 tons. Until retirement I drove 50K miles a year. The 97 year was my last diesel. There wasn’t any just driving savings anymore. Gas became faster and efficient. Our business gives us the opportunity to ask our costumers truck questions. More and more unless pulling their 3/4 ton work trucks are gas. That’s carrying fuel tanks, toolboxes, supplies for the job site. Diesel have become too high maintenance is their usually answer.

Is it safe to assume 100% of the emission systems on newer diesel vehicles falls under the 100,000 mile powertrain warranty? Can anyone confirm?

Emissions warranty is longer than the b to b, but not as long as the diesel powertrain warranty.
