Anyone find an accessory part solution for a suitable fitting cap for the 2020 Silverado capless fill opening.

 

It seems to me that dirt particles and moisture, however minimized could effect the vehicle performance & long term maintenance.

Not an issue.  There's another door behind the fill door.  The first door is the gas cap but when you insert the nozzle it opens another door.   That's why you need the special funnel to put gas from a can.

Since the flap is spring loaded with a seal, I can't imagine contamination being a huge issue. Plus there is a door over the full cap as well.

I have seen other posts about a locking cap replacement, but honestly, I love the fuel-through cap. 60k on a Suburban woth it and no issues.
