Anyone know if you can order the Satin Steel Metallic color on the 2020HD? I see it’s offered on the 1500 model as well as the Yukon’s. I don’t see if offered on a build from GM’s site but since it’s a GM color I was curious if they would do a special order.

OEMs generally will only do special colors if you're going to buy 5+ vehicles in that color, or it's not worth their time to interrupt plant production to set the paint room for one vehicle and a non-standard color.  Large fleet customers are sometimes given that single-vehicle privilege...  there was a local landscaper where I grew up whose fleet of Ford trucks were painted a unique sea-foam green shade - the owner's truck (first a Bronco II, then an Explorer) were always the same color, and the Explorer was a Sport with the black trim and red stripe in the bodyside molding.   Back in the day (80s and earlier), GM was willing to use any color in their palette if you were willing to pay and wait - they offered 300 colors including ten shades of white.

It's not listed as available on 20 or 21 2500's

It's still available for 1500's in 2021.

Might have to settle for Quicksilver Metallic

Appreciate the feedback. I have the Quicksilver Metallic now on the 1500 so I’ll stick with that for the 2500.

Thanks for the reply, guess that counts me out. Only looking to buy one.
