There is another thread here and others elsewhere that talk about Remote Control Door Lock Receiver (RCDLR) or Remote Keyless Entry (RKE).  I have read them

 

One of my remotes died.  I replaced the battery.  Nothing.  Started using the other remote. Short time later it died.  Replaced the battery.  Nothing.  Now, every once in a while, the FOB works.  I pulled the fuse for the Keyless Entry and replaced it.  No help.

 

Seems easy enough to replace the antenna.  There is some conflict on (1) whether it will need programming and (2) whether it needs to be replaced at all because the issue may be the sync between the BCM and the RCDLR.  Any help?
