Does GM offer an under body shield kit yet for a 2019+ 1500? I’m looking to get just the front metal skid plate to replace the plastic one for an AT4.

I just added GM full metal skid plates to my wife’s K2 Yukon Denali.

I ran across this kit that is a metal skid plate and replaces the front plastic piece if you go with that option. It's not cheap, but I may go with only the skid plate at some point as I don't really like the looks of the valence.

For my Silverado I bought a metal OEM one from the dealer (I went to the lot, found a truck with a metal one, pulled the VIN and asked for a new skid plate "shield")

PN: 23385004

I believe that it was $50. well worth it since my plastic one cracked in a few places. $46 at GMpartsdirect

That's only the bottom one and not the front piece. My Trail Boss already has the bottom metal piece. I don't know of any trucks having the front piece from the bumper to the cross member that is metal. The one I posted above is the only one I've found that will work with the stock suspension and bumper. All the other ones are for an aftermarket bumper or only work with a specific lift kit.

Agree, my Sierra AT4 already has the flat metal skid plate on front bottom as well. What I'd like to do is make the front end look like the Yukon AT4 by adding the angled front plate that goes between the recovery hooks on the '21 Yukon AT4. I may just buy one and see how it goes. But was curious if anyone had done this yet, or investigated it, before risking the $$.

I'm looking for the same thing.  I saw that Mazulla offroad one and its amazing looking! Only problem is that I have to have one for the 3.0 L Duramax and it won't fit it.

I was in my dealer showroom the other day and they had a new full tilt lifted, etc., AT4 on the showroom floor.  I ran around the front to see what they did about skid plates and it was BDS from the bumper to the 3rd member.  My guess is GM hasn't done much in the area with the Sierra AT4.

On all of my prior GMC and Chevrolet vehicles, I’ve been able to obtain Metal Skid Plates by searching for Police vehicle options online and through the dealer. I don’t know about your vehicle year being available, but that’s where I’d start looking. Search PPV SSV options for your year GM. It should be the same from a Tahoe PPV/SSV to a Sierra. Should.

There is actually a Silverado SSV for the 19+ model years. I don't think it has any special skid plates though from the info I've looked at from the ordering guide I found.

I've also been looking for skid plates for my Denali 1500.  I think I cracked the lower front plastic one by driving through deep wet snow last winter.
