Same issue here.  I had may brand new chevy trail boss 2 weeks when the issue began.  I lease this truck and drove 180 miles round trip to have the dealer look at the issue and no change, it actually got worse after picking it up.    Took it back again a week ago on 11/11/20 and they still have no solve for the issue  but are talking to gm about a new part to solve the issue......?  Any way most the miles on 1000 month lease has gone traveling to and from the dealer, and dealer will have had my truck for most of the first month of the lease...........they gave me a loaner but it is not the truck I need for my business.  I am very disappointed....

Issue popped up on my 2021 Yukon AT4 after 450 miles.  Dealer repaired (hopefully for good) and picked it up today.  Here is the service ticket which replaced part 13530533 (inboard airbag pigtail connector) under service bulletin #PIT5759H.

Hello All..Mars Denali here. Well since GM was good enough to buy back my 2015 earlier this month I’ve been torn over buying a 21 Yukon Denali or move over to the Tahoe High Country. I have to order it since I want the air suspension and none of the ones  I can find have it yet.
A few questions for all of you fortunate to have bought a new Yukon Denali  :

1) how bad do you miss the up and down shift buttons that were on the stalk or is it no big deal?

2) does anyone have the air ride and if so does it make a big difference in ride quality ?

3) would you recommend to your family or friends to buy a new Denali now that you drive one yourself ?

PS..after my last experience with the 2015 Yukon Denali they bought back I’m a bit hesitant to buy another one but I love the styling. Interior  and the 6.2 L engine , even though mine did blow the engine ! Lol
thanks

At 800 miles my 2021 Yukon starting jerking like it had water in the gas. Then the check engine started flashing and throwing multiple codes: service safety restraint system, service traction control,  forward collision system unavailable and service ESC. Took it to local dealer and the computer stated it had misfired and they said that it should be okay. Drove it home and everything started again a few days later. Called the dealership where I purchased it. They ended up towing it to dealership and opening a tac case where they replaced a fuel injector which did not fix the problem. Then they replaced the  ECM which did not fix the problem. After 20 days in the shop they were advised by GMC to take off the intake manifold where they found a broke wire rubbing on the firewall which had caused over 180,000 misfires. After fixing this wire the check engine light and other warnings have gone away. But, the service safety restraint system warning is still constantly going off which is really aggravating.  Fixing to take it back to the dealership. I hope they can fix it pretty fast. I’m really disappointed with my first GMC purchase.

Well after GM buyback folks gave me $70k for my 2015 Yukon ( many many problems ending with a blown engine ) I went ahead and bought a new 2021 Yukon Denali. Even after advice from some of my family and friends I still pulled the trigger!

After 2200 miles i heard a muffled knock at low and higher speeds.which got louder and more consistent after a couple if days. Ran it down to dealer and they thought maybe it was the air compressor for the air ride suspension. But i pointed out it feels like a miss or a stumble when I hear the knock. Low and behold after a blown engine in my 2015 YD this 2021 model has a faulty lifter(s) and it caused one of the rods to bend! Damn thats two 6.2L GM V-8’S that had/ have faulty valve springs.
I’ll give you an update when i get it back

PS.I love everything about this rig especially the smooth air ride suspension and interior quality but dang I cant believe my luck with their 6.2 engines! Oh and the sound system is a 10!

Hey everyone! I just took my 21 Sierra in for the “service safety restraint system” message that was popping up on my display, after being in the shop for two days the tech found (by technician bulletins) that one of my airbag sensors where faulty and every time I hit a larger enough bump, the pin inside the sensor would move causing the service message to pop up. When I get my truck back next week I’ll relay the exact info of what it was.
Thanks

I noticed a few previous posts for people having issues and repairs done on their 2021 Yukon's regarding the Drivers Front Seat Inboard Air Bag Connector. This seemed related to another recall or repair bulletin# PIT5759H. Both seem to be related to a seat safety restraint system issue for code B14DC. My Yukon, purchased new, has 43,000 miles on it and the seat safety restraint system was repaired under warranty by the dealership about 1 year ago. Within the last 2 months, I was getting alerts from OnStar about a warning for the Air Bag System Alert. It turns out that the air bag pig tail connector / terminal was at fault on the drivers front seat. Since the vehicle is 7,000 miles over warranty, the dealership refused to address this with GM to consider if still covered from a previous repair bulletin. I am thinking that bulletin# PIT5759H would have covered this issue along with the seat safety restraint system. The dealership was happy to charge over $600.00 to repair the connector with part# 13530533. The dealership also communicated that the foam, from the seat, was pushing on the connector and caused the issue. Originally, I was thinking the Air Bag System Alert was a simple computer reset issue, but when the dealership explained that a faulty connector was to blame due to seat foam, we felt concerned that this may be a safety issue that needed to be resolved immediately. Anyone have any suggestions on this and / or who to engage at GM on this? I would like to see if this issue should have been covered under the warranty when the work was originally performed for the seat safety restraint system.

The previous post that mentioned a similar issued was 11/21/2020 from Adplusone.

    • You could try a used 1, they used that engine in the Astro vans, Plenty of them in the boneyard. Look for a wrecked or rotted 1 so the chance that it was scrapped for that reason and not a mechanical issue will be greater

Hoping for some advice on what I should be looking at.
    • The truck is a 1995 Chevrolet S10 Blazer, 4.3 VIN "W" engine. :cracks knuckles:   On a whim - because I needed a headache - this truck was for sale so I stopped to take a look. Doesn't run. Well, it does, but barely. Long crank, choppy idle, bad misfire(s), it REEKS of fuel. I can DO this..I'm thinking. Diamond in the rough. One owner until last year. A young guy is selling it, he bought it 6 months ago. It stranded him more than once, he's got a newborn. It was in the shop 10 days ago and he "thinks" they said it needs a new fuel injection system. He can't put any more money into it, needs it gone. I was thinking of upgrading my Macbook, which is a total want, not a need. For less than the price of a new laptop I can have fun for months tinkering on this truck and enjoying it. I'm taking this truck home. The guy was beyond thrilled, his wife was there, she thanked me profusely, I could tell they were hurting. They seemed like good people in a bind.   Some parts, a wash, maybe a set of tires, and I can have a few months of fun and then turn it for beer money (or the next project).   Sure enough, there's a work order from a shop last week in the INCHES of paperwork on this truck dating back to when the first owner bought it. They put a new distributor in it, fuel injection work describes basically opening the plenum and putting it back together. He said he couldn't afford any more work so he had them button it up and that's when he put it up for sale.   I'm not well versed in 4.3. I did discover 1995 uses the 1992-1995 SCPI "Spider" injector which is riddled with issues from splitting lines, clogged or cracked poppet valves and plastic spider legs that crumble over time. Cool. I'll just order me a ne---. Oh, the auto parts store doesn't have it? Rock Auto doesn't have it. eBay? $$$$$$ for used. These are UNAVAILABLE period end of story unless you know "a guy" who's still got one in a box somewhere.   Can't upgrade to the '96-'04 injector, it's a different plenum, wiring/pinout and sensor config.   There are a few kinda "know a guy" -guy rebuild services for these injectors out there for about $350. Okay, Okay... I'd like to know if anyone has used them? Anyone got a lead on these crappy 92-95 spiders?   I also don't want to send MY spider to Narnia and back without knowing if that's truly the problem. I guess I'll need to pull apart the plenum and do some digging.   I was also thrown for a loop. This 1995 model year truck has an OBD-II connector. The interface is decidedly not OBD-II. I can read and reset trouble codes and view live data, but there's not a lot of data. Like misfire count and on what cylinder, that's not there. It's OBD-1.5.   Nothing is ever easy. Now it makes sense why this guy wanted to disappear this thing for cheap. I'm guessing the shop told him the injector is toast, the part is unobtainable and they're not going to sort sending the thing to a rando offering rebuild service on craigslist, and the kid likely can't be without a working car for 3 weeks even if they'd facilitate that.   Experience with these early SCPI's? Stories? Things to check? Sympathy? (..Nah...)   This can sit until I sort it. But I haven't had a problem with a vehicle I couldn't easily solve in a long time.
