When I built my little 12 x 20 shed about 10 months ago, even then it was crazy expensive for PT lumber, a least twice as much as I was expecting.

AND no tenderloin??!! Haven't been into the one down the street in months....

[Enough]

Here in the Hurricane Zone things are going to get uglier soon. With all of the damaged and destroyed roofs in Lake Charles and surrounding areas and in southern Alabama and Florida lumber prices have gone through the roof if you can find it and shingles are heading that way fast.

 

We'll soon be seeing homes with those lovely green, white and blue shingled roofs nobody in their right mind would normally buy because now it's all you can find.
