So I need help badly. I have been throwing parts at my 01 6.0L with no luck. So far I have replaced the following by:

-MAF (3 different ones, no change)

- Fuel pump, filter, regulator and vacuum line

-TPS

-MAP

- All 4 O2 sensors

- purge solenoid

I got a scan tool and checked the live data and it all seemed fine at idle.

So basically the truck has no power, like your driving with the brakes on slightly. And it hesitates and sputters like it’s running out of gas but every now and the. It corrects and runs fine for a second but then right back to crap. It seems to be far worse the hotter the truck is. The only code I get is p0101, but I have gone through 3 MAFs and no change.

This is the freeze frame data:

DTC: P0101

Fuelsys A: CL

Fuelsys B: CL

SHRTFT1: -0.8

LONGFT1: 21.1

SHRTFT2: 1.6

LONGFT2: 7.0

MAP(kPa): 98.0

RPM: 3034

VSS(km/h): 73

MAF(g/s): 85.15

TP: 60

It's a circuit issue. If 3 different MAF sensors are doing the same thing, then it's probably in the wiring to the MAF sensor.

Yes, read through the diagnostic information for P0101.  There are a list of things to do/check/possibly fix other then "replace MAF sensor".

Is the replacement maf,a duralast?,that's a no,no on these trucks, hit and miss with them, and check map reading at idle, one, just into closed loop, other, when up to temp and misbehaving,if kpa is higher on the latter, possible cat failure

Looks like a massive vacuum leak on the left bank of cylinders, check the intake gasket.

An exhaust leak can also really throw off the fuel trims.  Check if all the exhaust manifold bolts are present, on both sides of the engine, as it's common for them to break off.  If enough of them do, air can get sucked into the exhaust and make it appear to be running leaner than it really is (and the ecm will compensate by dumping in fuel, making the engine run like crap).
