Rough Country now makes a riveted set that is wider than stock. They don’t have pictures, but confirmed you can reinstall the lights. Does anybody else make aftermarket flares?

I'd love to see someone make an OEM style flare but minus the lights, and also a couple inches longer so that I can delete my mud flaps without leaving the truck looking unfinished.

I've removed my flaps on my last 3 Sierra's but for the 2020, the way they designed them, if you remove them, you're left with about a 2" gap from the bottom of the flare to the bottom of the fender. Like I said, it just looks unfinished like this truck on YouTube.

I’m getting a set of flaps next week or the week after from a shop that makes long johns and kickbacks that has actually taken that gap into account in their design to make it look stock. Hopefully their production ones look as good as their prototype.

Thats cool that they are accounting for it, but my issue is I don't want flaps period. I understand they are functional, and some people absolutely need them, but theres a lot of us that don't need them and would help us to clear a larger wheel/tire set up

Kickbacks are designed to clear bigger tires and most places they are required by law. Even if they weren’t though I’d have no paint on the bottom half of my truck in 2 years without them. Must be nice to live where you don’t need them!!!

No sure if they are required by law here, but even if they are, they don't enforce minor things like that. Its just a looks thing for me, I hate the way they look. The 3 Sierra's I had before this one, I come straight home and pull the flaps and the running boards and order AMP research steps. I also have a 6" PPF strip on the bottom of my trucks all the way around to help protect from debris.

Kelderman has a cap that goes there. The are pricey and need to be painted also

Yeah I saw those. $225 is just dumb lol... I could probably modify my own to look pretty clean for a lot less. Which is what I may try to do.

I am really torn on flares, flaps, etc.  I don't want to destroy my truck sides from the NE weather but I also don't want to take away from the looks.  Based on the picture of the Bushwacker one's I don't see how they can offer much improvement since the flaps are gone you still have the rounded corners for tire debris to go right by.  Was considering just going with a front aftermarket mudflap of some sort.  Generally the stock flap in the rear is good enough because you don't have the tire directional movement
