cpap Posted February 14, 2021 Posted February 14, 2021 Just installed a Kryptonite Stage 3 Levelling kit on my '21 AT4 HD and I am debating between tire sizes to run on the stock wheels. Main considerations for me are; - no rubbing on frame or control arm at full lock or during suspension articulation while driving off road. - ideally no wheel spacers to make it work - trimming or tying back liners is no issue but id rather not start hacking things up beyond that. Tire sizes I'm looking at 35x12.5R20 - which clearly fit no problem as per the above post. Very similar to stock size (except wider) which looks a bit on the small side with the levelling kit (IMO). 325/60R20 - has anyone that's run this size on stock wheels that can comment on fitment? This seems like the best size IMO, also comes in factory load & speed rating which is nice. 37x12.5x20 - Sounds like these work with no cutting just wheel spacer and some trimming? Any & All comments are welcomed. Looking at the Toyo AT3 as my favourite. Unfortunately they're hard to find in Canada right now, especially in the 325/60R20 size. With the 35x12.5 you won’t have any issues other than the kryptonite control arm. The wider tires will rub on them with your stock rim offset. 11.5 wide tires will work. If you want to keep the rims, you will need spacers with 12.5 wide. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

Now I’m confused! One says zero rubbing with 35x12.5 on stock wheels with the kryptonite stage 3 and the other saying it will rub for sure.

This truck, the white one in the pic has the Kryptonite stage 3 with Fox 2.0 and stock Denali wheels. I have 0 rub.. 1

Maybe it’s the tire selection because they rubbed with Maxis MT 35x12.5. Had to get new rims. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro 1

If it's not too much hassle, I'd be curious to see your clearance with that setup - this is what my truck currently looks like with factory wheels and stock 275/65R20 tires.. I'd say max 3/4" clearance before UCA is rubbing on the tire with the wheels pointed straight ahead.

I took a pic to show you the clearance, I didn't measure but it's not allowing me to upload it for some reason. But from my pic its really not all that much closer.

Stock tires are 10.5” wide if I remember correctly? So adding 1” to each side will certainly make them rub. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
bdkidd01 Posted April 2, 2021 Posted April 2, 2021 I’ve been running the Kryptonite Stage 3 kit for a while now with 35x12.5x20 on 20x9 with a +10 offset with no rubbing issues at all, just enough tire poke to give it a more aggressive look that it needed! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 1
