Anyone have this problem with their radio? I haven’t been able to find a quick fix for it online.

it will go black and bring that screen up and then go black again and keep bringing that update screen up. Any ideas would be great!

Thanks for showing this. But my issue is more of getting the radio to turn on. It’s stuck on the update screen itself, and it won’t pull up the normal menu.

Have you tried disconnecting the battery. Maybe it will reboot.

I have sadly no luck. I let it sit for like 30 minutes. Tried pulling the radio fuse as well in hope to reset it but that also didn’t work!

Your HMI module may have failed.

If so, you can replace it with the upgraded 2.5 version which has more features than the 2.0 that you currently have. (Glass half full view).

I’ll look into it thanks!

This blue plug that goes from the radio to the HMI seems to be the root of all my problems, it’s is very loose inside the plug.

Can you make a "shim", and stick it in along with the plug to firm it up?

Maybe a toothpick but leave it long enough to pull out by hand.
