 Hey guys, I'm sure this has been asked before but I can't seem to find a straight answer on the forums. I'm looking to put Nitto Ridge Grapplers on my 2018 Chevy Silverado Centennial edition 1500 LTZ with 22's. The stock tire is Bridgestone Duelers AT and the size is 285/45/22. Nitto has the Ridge Grapplers in that size and I'm not sure how to tell if they would fit. If that size wouldn't fit, would a 2" level do the job to work with those wheels? Thanks for the help.

Are you replacing the stock 285-45-22 Bridgestones with the same size Nitto Ridge Grapplers?
I can't see why they won't fit without a level kit. They are the same size.

First, congratulations on your taste in trucks!

 

Just go to a site like Tire Rack, or Discount Tires, they have a tire calculator that will give you the overall diameter of the tire you are looking at compared to stock.

Tire size questions have been asked countless times and there is usually no straight answer, except in your case. That is the stock size that is on there and you are replacing it with the same size it will fit, not sure why you would second guess that it wouldn't fit? Either way, for other questions just search the forums first, chances are a common question has been asked way too many times to where a new post is any relevant help as people are tired of answering it.

That makes sense, thanks guys. I think I was a bit confused because it doesnt show up as something that would fit my truck when I go to tire rack or direct tire etc, even though it's the same size. Im not sure why that is, but like you all said its the same size it should fit...

I have found that on many tire retail sites, you need to find the tire first, and the check that it fits by adding truck, versus entering your truck first and asking for tires that fit. Don't know why.

      These show the problem and symptoms, and I explain things too. to clarify again, I did not change over any computers or wiring (with the exception of the map sensor). All of the computers and wiring are original to the 2010 vehicle   video 1 - background info/explanation and part of the problem   video 2, idle misfire   I think the reason that the MAP sensor is reading High is because the engine is misfiring so there is less vacuum...   Additionally there's a p0102 for the MAF low frequency, and a p0108 for the map high voltage.        Again, apologies for the somewhat long-winded explanation, it's a rather difficult problem to explain without going into the details.

      I have a 2019 new body style high country with a 6.2l L87 and a 10 speed transmission code MQB. Looking for a disabler that is compatible. Most show it’s not. I watched a video on utube from Dons Life that says Ranges RA003B is compatible but when you go to Ranges website and check compatibility it only has a 8L90 trans listed which is an 8 speed.  I don’t want to buy the wrong one. Anyone have any experience with this situation?

      I understand the principle...you don't want to spend $150 for a $0.02 piece of plastic or a little screw and perch thingy.   But this is a problem that looks like it can be reliably solved with a zip tie.   That might hold you over until you can score one at a pick-a-parts yard.
