Today, 8 November the weather was really nice for the Northeast, instead of a snow storm it was sunny and 73. While on the interstate my drivers side SIDE BLIND ZONE ALERT lights kept coming on. (Both the car and star lights on the mirror). There was no one next to me or near me when this would happen and they would stay on for several minutes. Other times it was off and then would function normally as expected when vehicles past. I was not in the passing where bridges or guardrails would activate it.
Anybody else with this issue?

I know, call the dealer but just checking first if this a new glitch or have others had issues.

Only had issues in other vehicles with those ultrasonic sensors if bugs or a thick buildup got on them. Not sure if the Sierra is using ultrasonics or radar.

Either way if the trucks relatively clean shouldn’t be doing that.

Just looked it up. They are radar sensors. Known issue is they sometimes will trigger for guardrails on the highway.

I've had mine go off next to large bushes/shrubs in a median close to the road, but you said you had nothing around you. My front parking sensors will also go off when sitting at a stop light with nobody in front of me. Only thing I can think of is its picking up the white line on the pavement where you are supposed to stop? [emoji2369] I keep meaning to ask the dealership if there is a calibration for these or of that is normal

Had this happen to me today in my ‘21 SLT. Passenger side. Intermittently coming on for no reason. Occasionally my camera system goes down too. Usually fixes on a restart so I’m hoping it’s back to normal tomorrow
