I couldn't find a description, so if its out there I've missed it.

what are the driveline components of a 4WD T1?

it can be set to 2WD, AWD, or 4WD modes which is just incredible, this is an amazing machine.

usually AWD would be an LSD in the rear and an open diff in the front. 4WD is usually a locked front. I found (just testing) that even in 4WD mode this truck can make a turn, so the front diff must not be locked. are they electronic lockers? able to detect when the front needs to be unlocked and does so automatically? I assume if its actually 4WD that should I have been making that turn on dirt or ice that I would have had a locked front and thus a real 4WD and somehow the truck is just smart enough to make it all work in every situation.

I've had an AWD truck that had an LSD in the rear and an open in the front, and a much older 4WD which I think had an LSD in the rear and the front locked when you moved the lever into the 4x4 position, in that position of course the truck could not turn because the front wheels were not able to rotate at different speeds. This truck doesn't have that problem.

This truck is just awesome, but the engineer in me wants to know how it does its thing. prior to my 2020 the newest truck I've owned was an 03...a lot has changed since then!

The 2WD is self explanatory.

The AWD means it will only engage the front axle when wheel slip in the rear is detected, otherwise it's running in 2WD. The front diff is open and the rear has a G80 style locker that only locks when one wheels has 100 or 150rpm speed difference.

4WD is going to be 4X4 all the time where the transfer case is engaged to the front axle, the front diff is still open. Yes you can still turn on pavement but it's not good for the components of the 4X4 system. It could have extra wear on the transfer case, front diff and the front tires. You'd noticed how bad it is if you tried to do a real tight 180 degree turn, it wouldn't want to move that freely.
