2004 GMC Sierra 2500HD 6.0 starts then dies immediately

I have a 2004 GMC Sierra 2500hd, that will start then die immediately. The battery did die and was replaced. Now showing the battery light, check engine light, airbag light, and abs light on the dash. No gauges read with the key on including battery volt gauge. I have done the relearn cycle for the passlock, 2 or 3 times now because this has solved the problem in the past and work perfectly for months. Power window, power locks, radio do not work. But wipers and lights do. Has anyone had this exact problem and found the solution? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Sounds like the BCM isnt working right..

Under the truck, Driver side door)  on the Drivers side Frame Extension , that mounts the cab, There are a few wires grounding the ele system and the BCM.

 This is on the REARWARD facing part of the frame extension. They need to be cleaned well, and the frame cleaned WELL and re installed and covered in some marine grease ( waterproof) .

 This should make a difference and cost is minimal..

Any progress? what else have you tried,inspect battery cables? check power at fuses?

No progress, took cables off of battery made sure they were clean with a wire brush same thing for the grounds to engine and frame. Took the ground cable off of the frame and cleaned it for the bcm too. No luck. Fuses for the bcm and pcm are getting power and nothing has blown. Checked power and grounds to the bcm as well everything checking out for wiring to the bcm.

Try disconnecting modules,one by one,ddm,the driver's door window switch,start there,then radio,it all depends on how a module fails,a lucky one is,no comm.,yours sounds like a internal short on one of them

Back in the early 200's GM switched away from using lead solder on the electronics. Many, if not ALL trucks 1999-2007 had cold solder joint problems in the cluster  causing gauges to not work right, lights on, etc.

 You should try removing your cluster and unplugging it, and see if the truck runs, and stays running. You should be able to drive it this way too.

Removing the cluster is on "youTube" 

 If truck still stalls, may have a ecm ground under hood or engine ground pass side of engine rear to look into.

 Most folks with this year truck have had a rebuilt cluster, or did it themselves..

Removing the cluster didn’t solve the problem, and the grounds for the ecm and engine have tested good and cleaned off.

I’ve tried unplugging them everything individually and nothing changes, also tried unplugging just the cluster and still no change. I think I’m leaning towards it being the bcm. At this point

Just had this same exact issue on my 05 2500, water was in my computer.
