2020 Tahoe Soft Paint

Has anyone else noticed their vehicle having soft paint?. I have a 2020 Tahoe and right off the lot under florescent light the hood had numerous scratches. I had them try and buff it out which only made it worse and left tiny pinholes. I had a PDR company thru a body shop fix a small door ding. Afterwards it left holograms in the paint and more scratches all over the Tahoe from handwashing. Now there's a rock chip on the fender and it's never left pavement.

Yep gm paint has been soft for years.

I didn't notice the soft paint on our Tahoe. But I found a ton of trash in the paint. One spot looked like a grain of cooked rice painted over.  I also found smaller trash in our Blazer.

Yep. Crap paint. My 18 Tahoe has what appears to be dust spots through the paint. I thought the vehicles were painted in a clean room. By far the worst paint job on any car I have ever had. Didn’t notice when I bought it. Noticed as I was washing and detailing.

I know you've read about the paint on the the earlier year Tahoe models, same generation.  It will get worse, have you looked at the roof?  It's gonna cost me 2Gs to get my hood and roof painted.

If you want hard paint buy German, otherwise everything else is about equally bad.
