Is there a way to aim the headlights on the 2020+ Sierra HD’s?

I get flashed occasionally with an empty box  and all the time as soon as I get a few hundred pounds in it. It’s currently stock suspension and height so I can’t imagine what’s going to happen if I level it.

I've not had that happen to me since I got my Sierra, but I did get it a few times with the Silverado. I think these lights are so sharp and bright, many motorists think they are on high. Most times, it was when pulling my fifth wheel, but once I put the Timbrens on, everything went back to normal. Hope this can be of some assistance to your question.

Not really lol. I can see it in the tree line and on the highway that when the truck gets loaded the lights come up. So they have to be getting brighter in peoples eyes.

Not sure if the Sierra is the same as Silverado, but on mine if you look straight down behind the headlights inside the hood the is a white nylon cone about 1-1/2” in diameter. At the bottom of the cone is a small slot for a bit (I can’t remember if it is a torx or Allen type). Turning the cone raises or lowers your headlights, mine was really easy to do

I didn’t see anything but I’ll take a more thorough look. My gm tech buddy says he hasn’t had any complaints so hasn’t had to look into adjusting one but seemed to believe the gmc didn’t have any adjustment capabilities.

i don’t understand why with all the technology they throw at these trucks like knobs for dummies who can’t back up a trailer and such that they don’t have auto adjusting headlights. Or at least a switch to do it from the cab.

You were right. Last time I ever take a gm techs word.
Its not white but there definetly is a spot to adjust it. When it gets dark and I figure out which way to turn it for up down I’ll report back.

until I figure out how to add a picture to my post, here’s a link to the image I took this morning. I looked a little closer and it’s a Phillips down in the bottom of the cone. Good luck all

Looks like a little different setup for the Sierra but I’m glad you found it

So you can just turn the cone?.....which way for down if you find out would be helpful

GMC adjustments are higher up  and use phillips.....there is vid showing GMC

Yes just turn the cone with a philipps. I don’t remember which direction was up or down, I just aimed them at my garage door at night to figure it out

The screw turns in the direction you need the light to go. Clockwise will turn the bulbs down, counter clockwise raises them up. If your getting flashed with brights, adjust the higher one down to equal with the lower of the two.
