Squeak/ Chirp Noise from front Axle

Had a jingling noise coming from the front left in the drivetrain (sound gos away if placed into 4wd, comes back in 2wd) for more than six months. Finally had an opportunity to take the truck in  to the dealer, and drove with a service writer .Apparently the sound is a. bad front left CV assembly, which will be replaced under warranty .THe GM issue number is PIP5653J .
