Radio shutting off

Has anybody else has issues with their radio randomly shutting off? It seems like it only happens when my iphone is plugged in to the USB, I've tried a couple cables and still the same. It did it several times when the truck was new then went away for a while. Now its doing it again after the update. Screen goes black and no sound and stays off until I press the power again.

There’s a software update that addresses many issues... could solve yours.

Problem is, since it’s GM, you may end up having to visit dealer. Their OTA is beyond a joke.

I had this happen using android auto.. it was a bad usb cable . mine was rebooting not shutting down .

Mine has been doing the same thing. Dropped of at the dealer this morning. Will update later today when then tell me what they found.

Please let us know. My 2019 1500 LT is Version 807 and it's reverted back to it's "old ways" of randomly rebooting while driving and doing weird things like going to max volume while driving. Extremely frustrating... I just tried to update via wifi and it says there isn't one.

Dealer updated the radio software. We'll see how that goes.

My infotainment system just shutdown while

driving and listening to xm. Never had this issue before. Also never had horn system shutdown half horns. Thinking about just going back to dodge ram. No issues with them.
