Thanks for the info! Roughly how thick is that rubber? I’ve got a piece of rubber I’m thinking to cut like this.

It’s 1/4” thick. You can buy a 1/4” 12 x12 sheet on Amazon for $21 also

I put them on last week and the sound is completely gone as well.  I let the customer care rep at the dealership know and they just stopped responding to me at all. I did report the issue to Chevrolet and GM. I can’t fathom why they wouldn’t want to fix this especially since it’s so easy to remedy.

Great to hear! How do you report it to GM?

I just bought a 2018 62k Sierra and sure enough, the same sound. It’s crazy because I also, really only notice it backing into my driveway. It seems to be a common theme.
