My wife’s ac went out in her 2017 tahoe. I know there’s an issue w a weld at the condenser, so I’m trying to put dye in to confirm.

Isn’t this the low side on the right?  Can’t get the hose on it. Tested the hose on my 2000 Sierra and it went on easy.

Does your truck run 1234YF refrigerant? That was pretty common on a 2017+ trucks, the end might be a different size than R134a.

The larger hose is the suction side(low side), the 2017 model year is the phase in of the r1234YF refrigerant. Some had r134A and some had r1234YF. The sticker on the radiator close out panel will tell you which one you have. The fittings are not interchangeable The r1234YF requires different pag oil also.
