Feed back on ordering a truck

Hey everyone I put a order in for a new GMC 2500 At4 about a month ago not really expecting to have it till the end of Aug. With everything going on do you think I should be ok to receive the truck then or will it be much later?

I waited 8 weeks for my truck when I ordered it. That was back in July 2020 and I took delivery in September 2020. (2020 Silverado LTZ Z71 3.0L Duramax)

If its an optioned out AT4, I'd expect to wait until late September. The microchip shortage is a big problem for all manufacturers.

That said, if it was ordered with Priority 1 status and with a Sold Order attached, it'll be top of the list for GM to get built and delivered. This was how my truck was ordered and it still took 8 weeks. Not too bad I guess, I've heard of orders taking much longer than 8 weeks.

Side note, 2500HD AT4 would be my truck if I could afford one concongratulations on that!

Thank you ya hopefully it was put through with priority realistically as long as I have it for plowing season so I could wait just more time to save some money

I ordered my truck in January. Order accepted immediately and truck built by late February. Still waiting on it with no end in sight.

I think you have a snowballs chance in hell getting it this year. You are not only competing against the other thousands of GM trucks stacked up but also Ford, Ram, etc.

This is not ending any time soon and almost no one knows it yet.

Ordered my 2021 Sierra Denali on January 4, 2021, and it was delivered on March 20, 2021. GM discount was $5,250 so my final price was $55,650 or so. Probably could have done better, but I’m happy to have a truck.
