Running 20" Wheels on a Dually

Recommended Posts

Searched the forum and not finding what I am looking for. I have owned several GM trucks, but picking up my first dually in a couple weeks and looking to throw 20" wheels on it. I am purchasing wheels and tires that have minimally the same load capacity as stock. What I am looking for is what size tires are people running on these wheels with stock suspension and no trimming. I will be towing heavy and going to places where there is snow and ice on the ground (not always while towing). I plan to run a an AT tire (Toyo or Falken). I am considering a 275 65 20. Anyone running this setup? Can you post pictures?

I want to ensure ride quality, towing performance, and that the tires are not sticking out the fenders too much.

Thanks!!

Nate

I acquired my dually wheels a year ago, and I had a terrific time with them because I didn't have any issues. I still have the impression that the wheels are spanking new.

Any pics / info of your set up?
