Error Code P0523

I got my truck serviced at GMC three weeks ago for a tuneup everything was checked before I went on a trip and while I was on the trip my pressure gauge is reading zero and I have a check engine light on my dash. I have plenty of oil in that engine no noise is coming from the engine and everything else seems to be running fine I had advanced auto parts check the computer and got the above error code. Just curious can I keep driving the truck until I get home from vacation which I have to pull a boat on my way home. Thanks

More than likely it's a bad oil pressure sending unit and the truck is fine to drive.

However, if it was my truck I would be nervous about driving (especially towing) without doing more diagnosis first.

Thanks I talked to my dealer and they said it’s the pressure sending unit and I’m ok to drive so that made me feel better about what I have and driving it. Thanks
