Jump seat to full center console swap

Swapped out the jump seat in my 2020 TrailBoss to the full console. I bought wiring harness GM #8448276, has connections for the USB, wireless phone charger and power outlet. My problem is my jump seat didn't have power to it so I can't find where to plug the harness into to power the console. Does anyone know how to connect this?

Its probably tied up under the center dash. The higher trim trucks have the power ran for the key transponder. What are you trying to get power to?

 

Where did you source your console?

Joe have you figured this out yet? The connector for the console is supposed to be under the passenger side front seat. There is a cut out in the carpeting where its supposed to be. I have a console on order and have looked under my pass. side seat and do not see a connector. I have a 2021 TB Custom with no power in the jump seat also. I am starting to wonder if the Custom Trail Bosses w/o power in the jump seat do not have this wiring harness/connector under the pass. seat. When my console gets here I will pull the front seats to install it and look for this harness/connector. In the meantime I am getting the VIN from the donor truck to see if I can get any help from my local chevy parts department. I may have to build my own harness which i do not want to do on a new truck. There is also an issue with getting data to the USB ports inside the console but i am going to solve these problems one at a time. My console should be delivered within a couple of weeks I will let you know what I figure out.

I have researched this subject in depth and I have not seen or heard of anyone getting data into the center console.

Kind of what I’ve been seeing. I have been in multiple forums, Facebook groups, Google searches. It does seem like a lost cause. I have a 2017 with data in the armrest I just don’t understand why they moved it for this body style change.

      It was never mandated.  Ever.    Automakers were incentivized to install it by getting CAFE credits to help with their vehicle fleet fuel economy scores.  They were being handed money/CAFE credits to install it.  Which is NOT a mandate.       The current admin removed the incentives that were behind them installing it.

      My brand new 2007 Silverado's wax frame was rust from end to end partway through it's SECOND winter here in MA. That stuff is completely useless.

      I went another direction after losing a trailer tire, thanks to not being able to access air at ANY of the 5 gas stations and garages I stopped at prior, with a Toyota Tacoma onboard, 50 miles from the Canadian border. They were either out of order, access was blocked, or the hose a few feet too short and I couldn't get any closer without risking damage to someone's property.   https://postimg.cc/gallery/X5QJ55w
