radio problems

2018 Silverado,

 Reverse back to drive, radio either on serius xm or reg starts jumping back and forth to menu items and the speedometer goes to same menu items. after a while it stops and no more problems, just when backing out and going forward. drinving me crazy. maybe need an update or something.  only have 26,000 miles on vehicle.

Almost sounds like damaged wiring in the steering column.
