Looking at the underside of the cab on the new truck and there are 10 holes on each side running the length of the cab.

 

Can't see these are drain holes as they are plugged . Seems weird to have access ports that low. 

 

Any thoughts?

My guess is that they are drain holes used during the manufacturing process.  The entire truck is submerged in a rust proofing liquid before the body is painted and the rust proofing has to drain after leaving the bath.  Just a WAG.

That makes sense thanks. Hadn't noticed on the 2017 . Guess I'll have to Krown this sooner than later. 

 

Gotta love salt on the roads in winter up here
