Had a water pump that wobbled the fan blade but did not leak coolant. So I had the water pump replaced all the belts, both tensioner pulley's, idler pulley's,

and hoses. Now I have a squeek in the belt area it sounds like. It squeeks when ever I start the truck. It sounds bad in the morning when it is cool. After it goes 10-15 Miles at 70 mph it will stop, but it will come back next time I start the truck. I was thinking a different manufacture belt, but i don't really think that will help.

A belt should not squeak....if its the right belt.  Try Shakenfake's recommendation.  If it comes back I would somehow try to determine its the belt thats squeaking.....and not one of the new pulleys.  I assume you did the work yourself.  If so, consider the idler pulley and make sure its functioning as it should and keeping the belt tight enough.  If it is in fact the belt, I'd buy a GM belt from a dealer and be done with it.

I would use water.

Not WD 40.

Spray one thing at a time on a cold start.

I would literally spray the entire belt in WD-40. Then after that you can start looking at pulleys

😂

Faster to just replace the belt if you are going to destroy the old one with WD-40 anyway.

How would that destroy the belt lol?

Also taking the pulleys off and testing for play isn't hard so you know you could always just do that instead

Cheap brand belts can squeak no matter what sometimes. Gates and Goodyear Gatorback have performed well. I'd also check pulley alignment between all devices.

On older vehicles with V-belts and plenty of room around the engine, we used a bar of soap, dry and just let it rub against eh belt for second. Much harder, if not impossible on todays setups with serpentine belts

Agree with above, spraying belts with WD 40 probably not the best idea for belt life and performance

If you spray it one time it is not going to do anything. You guys act like I'm talking about literally soaking the belt in WD-40 twice a day for a year.

Why use a lubricant on a belt or pulley when in my experience water works. Water doesn't leave a trace residue.

As my signature says, I'm not hear to convince anybody I'm right. You do what you want.

I hate using water as lube although it might be because of my view on it when using it somewhere else...
