Greetings! This is my first post here. I inherited my father's 2001 Silverado LS extended cab with the 4.8L V8. He really used it as a work truck so I have my work cut out for me on restoration. This truck did not come stock with the fog lights. I got a bumper, OEM wiring harness, and OEM switch from a junk yard, and my sister gave me brand new OEM fog lights that she never got around to installing in her Suburban. Everything is installed but the fog lights won't turn on using the switch. When hooked up to an alternate power source, the fog light come on. I got another OEM switch and swapped that out thinking the switch was bad, but same problem. What am I missing. Is it a fuse issue or another component I need to look for since this truck didn't originally come with fog lights? I know I can get aftermarket parts and such, I'm trying very hard to keep everything as stock as possible. Thanks for any help!

there should be a relay and fuse in the power distribution box under the hood. the box may not be wired for the lights tho, if there are terminals where they go your all set, if not you will have to wire in a relay and fuse into the wiring
