I cracked the rear housing on my transfer case (MP3023). I purchased a replacement rear housing to swap out. I have looked all over the internet and I cannot find the torque specs for the T40 bolts that hold the front and rear case housing together. I believe I found the correct torque for the shift motor at 27ft/lbs.

If anyone can supply the torque needed to seal this case together it would be very much appreciated.

Thanks.

I had no luck either, I would guess 35-40 ft lbs. you could also call a transmission shop and ask them

Thanks for the info swathdiver, you saved me potentially stripped threads and a lot of headache.
