Did you consider a 3.0L 1500?

 

I went from a 2018 2500 6.6L to a 2021 1500 3.0L.

 

Doing the same job my 3.0 is getting a little more than 6 mpg better than the 6.6L did. 

(I log every tankful, and I'm surprised it's that much better too)

 

'15 and '16 6.2 and 5.3 (both 8 speed) that I ran both got about 20 - 21.

 

The 19.0 mpg over just under 30,000 miles vs 25.6 over 16,000 miles. 

 

None of these trucks were lifted/leveled, so the 1500's not as tall as the 2500.
