No Cruise Control

Hello all,

We just purchased a beautiful 2020 2500HD Crew Cab 4x4. Because of time constraints and test drive in city traffic, never even thought about cruise control buttons. We bought the truck same day and drove it it home. We had to drive 175 miles to a dealer in Detroit to see it, buy it. Only has 14K miles on it. Driving home, I could not find a cruise control button(s). My guess it did not come with. It does not have all the bells and whistles of the Denali model (which we almost purchased a 2022 coming in that the original buyer backed out of). 

My question is, how hard and expensive to add this option?

The buttons are on the steering wheel.

Is cruise control a universal feature?  I didn't think it was especially for base model work trucks.

There are a few work truck trim level that don't have cruise.  Above that trim level, it is standard.

Left hand side of steering wheel.

On WT it can be ordered stand alone a K34 or included with rpo PCV  -- WT convenience package

 

K34

Cruise control, electronic with set and resume speed, steering wheel-mounted 1 - Included with (PCV) WT Convenience Package.

A1

 

Higher HD trims it was standard. 

 

On 1500 (including the 2022 refreshed version) it is also an option on WT and standard on higher.

There are no buttons the wheel on the left side o steering wheel rolls up for resume rolls down for set there is a button for on off.

No cruise control that means.  I'm not sure what you're trying to convey with that last part.

There is a button on the left?  Or there isn't?  You say no, but then you say there is a button there.

 

Got a picture of your steering wheel?  If you don't have cruise, the left side of the wheel has just a blank panel there.
