AGM battery charging

My 2013 Silverado W/T came with a standard battery. When looking into an AGM battery I found they don't charge the same. I have heard sensor/modules may be in the truck already making it ready for an AGM.

I've seen no program updates on the GMT900 platform for AGM batteries.  ACDelco does not recommend their AGMs for the 900s as they require a slower, steadier charge.  Sure you can use them, they just won't last as long as they could have.  We get plenty of life out of the regular 48PG or 48HPG batteries.  I got 48 months out of my 30 month 48PS.

I have an 02 1500 5.3 LT Silverado with a Die Hard AGM battery I installed 6 years ago, works like a champ still.
