Hey guys, newbie here. I’m hoping to get some confirmation of a rumour regarding the possibility that GM will be reintroducing a regular cab, short bed truck.

Anyone have any insight?

Cheers

It's already been confirmed like a month or two ago.

There is a thread on here about it somewhere and GM Authority has articles on it too. It will be available in work truck trim only. So it will be the cheapest ones you can price out for the most part and I'm sure ton of people will be modding them to make them look better.

If there is finally a bubble pop I may pick myself up one of those trucks...

Or maybe I need to wait and see if Chevy pulls a Ford and has a nice quick RCSB

It is a confirmed configuration.

That said, just like the regular cab long box, its WT trim only.

Also, its 2.7 Turbo only, no V8 regular cab standard box.  It will be the new HO version however, so still should be a quick little package.

Order guide powertrain chart for Regular Cab for proof:

Model Information - Online Ordering Guide (gmfleetorderguide.com)

CC/CK10703 is reg standard box, CC/CK10903 is long box.

Maybe because I don't know how to read all those order guides but you can get it in a 4X4 right?

Also does it say the curb weight of that little truck too? Gotta be like 4,400-4,500lbs or something.

Yea they don't have the specs and dimensions yet.

Going off a 2022 old body long box, Base Curb weight, w/ L3B, 4490lbs 2wd, 4700lbs 4wd.  So using 2wd should ballpark 4420lbs, 4wd 4630lbs.

I don't like black but that is a nice looking truck. The little side steps can go too lol.

Nice to see one on a lot somewhere, hopefully I start seeing more in the future.
