My truck is leaking oil

I wanted to start a thread on this because I wasn't able to find anyone else posting about this issue. I noticed last night that I had oil drippings on my garage floor. Crawled under my truck and sure enough I saw some oil leakage. It's not anywhere near the drain plug or the oil filter, it's dripping from further towards the front and looks to be dripping down from somewhere up in the engine bay. I can't see it from the top and couldn't really pin point where it's starting from. My guess is it's from an oil cooling line but that is just a guess. I'm dropping it off at the dealer after work today so I'm sure they won't get to it until tomorrow. I'll check back once I know. I'm sure it's no big deal but it still worries you on a truck with only 9k miles on it. I'm going to take some pictures when I get home before I bring it in. I decided not to clean any of it off so they could see it.

Update, I heard from the dealer and its the engine oil cooler line that is leaking. They were able to find the parts and should have it fixed for me tomorrow. I saw that GM acknowledged an issue with these on the 1/2 tons last year but found nothing about it being an issue with the HD's

 

Anybody had this happen to their truck?

Sounds like it’s leaking at the engine end of the line and not the radiator end. I haven’t studied mine carefully, but in the past they designed those lines with quick connect fittings at the oil filter block for ease of factory assembly, and they were not optimized for leak proof longevity. I’ve had to replace them twice on my old truck, and I doubt the design has changed. The good news is that if it happens after warranty it’s a fairly easy DIY job.
 

I only have 10 months and 4000 miles on my new truck, but no leaks so far for me.

My 2021 3500 HD just started leaking up front around the radiator area haven't found the source yet but the frame is covered in oil on the left side

coming up on 10k and changing all fluids except radiator.....mine been solid just want better stuff in there and to know most of all......easy to do at home

Just came across this post and I think I have the same if not similar issue.  Does you leak look like mine?

 

I am going to call the dealership tomorrow and see if I can get Big Red in this week.  

 

2022 with 13K miles.
