I have a 2019 Trail Boss and am wanting to set up the Trailering App for use with a new trailer but I cannot get it to go off the light test screen. I get the test screen when I open the app and have run through the test many times but it will not go to next screen. I can see the app running and tried to stop the app but will not let me. I have reset to factory settings and nothing. Any ideas?

At least you got the trailer app on the truck to work, I keep getting a dead, blank screen for that page. TSB for that issue says to reset radio to factory default, so you've done that. Is the trailer connected to the truck? Maybe that is necessary to detect the lights during the light test and then to stop test. Have you tried to stop the light test through the MyChevrolet app Light Test on your phone?

fwiw, the light test on mine seems to work fine.

Stops when stop is pressed.

I haven't let it run long enough to see if it times out at 1 minute 45 seconds like it is supposed to and haven't tried any of the alternate methods of stopping the light test.

I have 2 trailers setup and also others (that don't have electric brakes) that I pull (short distances) as 'guest'.

Being able to quickly do the test without assistance is a great improvement,

Light Test
Touch Start Light Test to cycle the trailer lights on and off to determine if they are working.

The test follows this sequence:
1. The running lights turn on first and remain on throughout the sequence.
2. The brake lights turn on for about two seconds.
3. The left turn signal light flashes three times.
4. The right turn signal light flashes three times.
5. The reverse lights turn on for about two seconds.
6. Steps 2–5 repeat for approximately one minute and 45 seconds, or until the
test deactivates.

Touch Stop to stop the test.

The test will automatically end after one minute and 45 seconds.

The sequence also deactivates when any of the following occur:
. The ignition is turned off.
. The transmission is shifted out of P (Park).
. The brake pedal is pressed.
. The turn signal is activated.
. The hazard warning lights are activated.
