Engine swap: 2001 6.0 sierra engine into 2003 5.3 silverado

Some sensors on the engine need to be swapped out. Throttle body needs to be swapped out. Need a tune. Flexplate should work but it may need to be swapped out.

 

Pretty sure that is it.

Swap the entire top end of your 2003 engine onto the 6.0. Intake, fuel rails, MAP sensor, EVAP stuff etc etc.

 

Use your 5.3 flex plate on the 6.0 and then get the computer tuned for the new engine size.
