Can a 2002 dash fit in a 03-07 body style truck?

Says on the tin. I have a sierra professional edition but instead of spending the money to fully restore the truck, I wanted to swap the professional editon console into a newer style sierra. Would it work? All I see are people putting the newer style ones into the older styles, but not the other way around.

What specifically from the dash? The dash itself and all the trim components? Yes except for the dash bezel.

The electronic components and air bag? No

Why would you want the 02 instead of the 03-07?

Only the floor portion of the 02 console would work unless you wanted to change out the glove box and kick panel.

I got a special center console that has a cooler and heated/cooled cup holders,  in a 02

Yeah the Escalade center console. 

 

You will need to change the glove box for a 99-02 and get the 99-02 kick panel. I don't think you will need to change the dash bezel but you may need to modify the bottom of it so it fits properly with the console

Denali then, they are the same consoles. Denali and Esky are basically identical.

I had forgot that Denalis came with the heated and cooled cupholders

that just says it's maybe compatible with 00-02 I wanted to know if it was possible to put it in a 03-07 body style

Well technically yeah it is only compatible for 00-02. 

 

Like I said it'll mount, you may have to wire up the cup holders. Hope your dash bezel fits good
