Wheel offset

2015 Silverado 1500 LT. Putting a 2 inch level kit on it. Trying to buy rims that will not have the tires stick out. What offset do I need? Would 17-18 inch rims with 12mm offset achieve this goal? Or do I need to go to 18mm?

Imo 0 or +1 offset will give your tires a flush/slight poke look.

Offset will also depends on WHEEL’s width.

My truck has a 2-1/2” front, 1” rear lift. Wheels are 18x9 +12 offset with 285/65/18 tires. The sidewalls stick out slightly past the fenders but the tread doesn’t.
