I’m trying to find a coilover leveling kit/lift kit for my 2021 sierra 1500, crew cab, diesel, elevation with 20” wheels. I want to reuse my stock wheels and tires as there’s nothing wrong with them and I like them. Some lifts I want, like the cognito say you can’t reuse factory wheels. But, some like the BDS say the 20” is ok, but the 17 and 18 won’t work. I would like to use a coilover kit with UCA’s, if necessary, preferably something like FOX shocks or comparable. Does anyone have any input on this, or any real world experience running this setup on their truck.

It’s likely due to their control arm designs giving you less clearance between it and the tire.

If all you’re doing is leveling out the front by adding 1.5” or so, just skip the aftermarket control arms altogether. They aren’t really necessary for that amount of lift anyway.

I’m trying to get 3.5” in the front. I wonder if I could use a pair of trailboss or AT4 UCA’s? There’s a guy selling a pair local on marketplace. Or I just need to find a kit that cooperates with the factory 20” wheels.

Trail Boss, AT4, and Base model UCA's are all the same.  The only difference on the front suspension between the TB/AT4/Base Model Sierra is the shock.  You can run a 3.5 inch lift with stock 20's and not worry, a gazillion of TB's and AT4's do it with a 1.5 leveling spacer(2" factory + 1.5" spacer = 3.5" total).

As stated above, factory trail boss/at4 uca are identical to your elevation uca. There is no difference.

You want 3.5” of lift but are going to use stock tires??

Yes, the stock 20’s are 33’s and they fill up the wheel well quite a bit. I’d rather buy a lift that accommodates stock wheels that way i could put them on in the winter, or use the same wheel but find bigger tires. I don’t care for the offset look anyway.

I agree.  I prefer stock wheels with increased tire sizes as well, not a big fan of the offset look either.

I knew there had to be somebody out there that felt the same way

Are you looking to just level the front up or are you looking to lift & level the truck up (back & front) say 2 or 2.5 inches from stock?
