Just had the 4 speed in my 07 1500 upgraded to approx 65 innards, and just finished re-install.

However, cant get the upper line to press in to the trans fitting.

Question- are these fittings the same inner diameter, etc?   The lower line pops in almost too east it seems so thinking maybe if those are different to prevent installing the lines incorrectly, the builder may have reinstalled those reversed.

Do you have both clips in?

Edit: I can tell you don't have either clips in so both of the trans lines won't hold in place. You need these https://www.autozone.com/screws-pins-and-clips/retaining-clip/p/dorman-oe-solutions-assorted-transmission-oil-cooler-line-clip-12-piece/426091_0_0

Don't know which one in the package

The upper line won't push into the fitting - as if the fitting inner dia is too small.   The fitting must be the wrong size or ?    The line end looks fine.

Question is, are those fittings diff sizes?  Is it poss the builder put the upper in the lower?

Check out the photo.  That upper line flare isnt seating even without the clip there.

I'm looking at it again and I see it. I guess I would ask the builder. I don't think they are different
