2022 Sierra 2500HD SLE.

Whenever I unlock the door(s) (fob in pocket, push button on handle), I hear a whirring noise emanating from below the vehicle, just behind the rear door (at least that is where it seems to be coming from). This noise occurs when I unlock by the front or rear door (driver's side, haven't yet tried passenger doors). The first time I heard this noise, I half expected to see an automatic side-step fold out from under the side of the truck, however, I have factory applied stationary steps, so obviously not that, but that's what the sound reminds me of.

Can anyone advise what this noise is from? It only lasts for a couple seconds, and not long enough for me to bend down and look under the truck to see if anything is moving.

Thanks,

Marv

Fuel pump.

It's self priming the system when the door in unlocked/opened like that.

Rats!  I was hoping the truck was arming the "Mother-In-Law Ejection Seat System." (MILES System).  Pretty sure that is in the Discomfort Settings Menu, or at least it should be.
