So I went in the dealer today to pick up battery for my fathers car, the guy that I order my truck from sow me from across the dealer and call my name so I went there to say hello and of course I ask what is happening with my truck, the dude jump on his computer try few deferent ways to find out where the hold up is and only think can see was pending shipping, he said probably waiting on cheeps or cant find available carrier the ship the truck, this is nearly 3 months after the truck been build....... I  guess ill give it some more time.....

damn, I ran into a guy who picked up his tb diesel order from feb on July 14...so about 6 months, my tb custom 2.7 order from early April had been built for a few weeks sitting waiting for who knows what as yours is before I decided the skip out on the lottery and found a custom 2.7 on a lot that I would lift myself as a lot of the other tb features I just didn't need, so did that and cancelled my order at about the 4 month mark, I had some other reasons to be in a hurry though...if you can wait it will come, you may have already waited long enough so maybe you're stuck past point of no return now? sucks man...hope things turn around for you shortly

My original TB ltd custom order was in transit status then back to pending shipping or something to that effect for I don’t know how long. I went out and found a new refresh model 6 hours away and bought it, was only a couple thousand more. I don’t think that truck ever did come in. They should let us pick them up from the factory lots.

Wishful thinking.  That would be a nightmare for them to endure.  Can you imagine a 1,000 people a  day showing up bitching about this and that?

      It wouldn’t have happened if the government hadn’t mandated outrageous fuel mileage standards. It does very little for the consumer. It adds cost. Back during Covid there was a chip shortage. They gave a rebate for your truck if it didn’t have the chip to turn on cylinder deactivation. It was 50$ because at best you may see 1/2 a mile increase per gallon. Splitting hairs each fuel mileage trick wasn’t mandated. The government doesn’t do the engineering work and say use this until it’s already in use and they like it. The fuel mileage was mandated. And those add ons the results. There’s a mandate and they are the results.

      It was never mandated.  Ever.    Automakers were incentivized to install it by getting CAFE credits to help with their vehicle fleet fuel economy scores.  They were being handed money/CAFE credits to install it.  Which is NOT a mandate.       The current admin removed the incentives that were behind them installing it.

      My brand new 2007 Silverado's wax frame was rust from end to end partway through it's SECOND winter here in MA. That stuff is completely useless.
