2017 Silverado battery option info

Good morning guys. I thought  I share a recent experience with my 2017 Silverado. the original battery went dead last week without any warning. Can you figure that. Had a mfg date of 12.12.16 so only about 5 1/2 yes old. Just kidding. That's pretty good for an original one. after some research I found that I could buy a H7 AGM battery to fit this truck from Walmart. Had to order it online & free shipping to my front door. Only $169.84 plus core charge & tax. Not bad for a 850 cca AGM.I thought I would just pass this information along hoping it might help someone else. I'll return the old one for my core charge refund after installing. Oh yeah & it has a 4 year free replacement.

Another option AC Delco Gold 94R AGM (h7 equivalent) and think it was 170 shipped w tax through Amazon.  No core charge.  
 

The Walmart one wasn’t available for pickup or shipping back in April when my car’s died after sitting two weeks (it lasted 10 yrs).  Good to know I can buy the same one for my truck.

Good option. I didn't even think of Amazon at the time, as they have been higher on many items I've looked at. I checked Advance Auto, AutoZone & O'Reilly's & they were all much higher. One other difference is that Walmart's Ever Start has a 4-year free replacement & AC Delco is a 3 year, but still a good choice.

Napa auto, battery is made by East Penn manufacturing, yea it costs more.
