I had a 2019 with BOSE, just got a 2022 Refresh with BOSE.  I noticed the 2022 BOSE didn't sound as good as the old truck. With some tinkering, I found a few things. I listen to music via Pandora, or YouTube music app.  I noticed in the new 2022 if I listen to music via Android Auto (whether it's Pandora, YouTube music, etc)  the sound quality isn't as good vs listening straight from the app built into the truck.  I adjusted the EQ settings on my phone, and also changed the app setting to play music at "High" quality. ...no change. Any suggestions?  I do like the listening to music straight from the YouTube music app built into the truck, but this costs $15 per month for "app access" plan.  I would rather listen to music via android auto, and the YouTube music app on my phone.. or Pandora, etc.  But again, the sound quality is noticeably worse .  Anyone else notice this?

Which sound system do you have? There's 6-Speaker Base system, 7-Speaker Bose Premium in AT4, 12-Speaker Bose Premium in AT4X and Denali.

And I think Android Auto still uses Bluetooth for audio. I was under the impression that Connecting with AA would mean using Wifi for Audio which has higher bit-rate and better quality. But if I'm listening to music and I turn off wifi on my phone the music keeps playing in the truck.
